Strategic Vehicle Advertising Campaign for Computeach
Motamedia announces the launch of a strategic vehicle advertising campaign for the UK’s leading provider of IT training, Computeach.
The campaign, which has seen 19 lorries, fully wrapped in 3D advertisements for Computeach travelling across UK roads, has been designed to increase awareness of Computeach’s flexible range of IT training programmes.
Computeach is an established and innovative provider of courses for the UK market for both consumers seeking to start a new career in IT and professionals looking to improve their existing IT skills. The advertisements, which utilise both the sides and rears of Motamedia vehicles, create a 3D effect depicting men and women enjoying work in spectacular beach and desert settings together with the straplines ‘Retrain for a more rewarding career in IT’ and ‘Your future in safe hands’. The company has chosen routes covering the whole Northwest and North Wales region after performing studies of its target demographics. Consumers are invited to contact Computeach by telephone, text message, or through the website with responses to each route and vehicle carefully monitored. The company plans to roll the campaign into other areas of the country following initial campaign analysis.
Motamedia has worked with Computeach to identify the optimal routes to help Computeach reach its target audience and has provided the design and vehicle wrapping services through its sister company, Mediafleet. The campaign utilises three different vehicle types in order to provide a mixture of motorway and urban coverage and reach. Motamedia’s research has shown that the concept of a ‘moving billboard’ is an effective platform for brands, capable of reaching a wide audience in areas often uncluttered with other forms of advertising. A key element of the selection of a suitable partner for the campaign was Motamedia’s unique environmental proposition which provides carbon offsetting for all vehicles carrying client advertisements.
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to provide such a well established and successful brand with a totally new platform to reach their target customer,” comments Motamedia Managing Director, Colin Smith. “Computeach involved us in their core objectives from the outset and as a result, we have been able to help them identify optimal methods for reaching their target demographic. From the research we have conducted into the number of vehicle occupants and pedestrians on our routes, we are confident that Motamedia will demonstrate a cost saving per response compared to other more traditional advertising routes.”
Darren Francis, Head of Marketing at Computeach comments, “We were extremely impressed by the sheer volume of research that Motamedia have made into their proposition and the impact of the ads displayed on the Motamedia fleet. We are constantly looking for new and imaginative ways to reach our target audience and felt that vehicle advertising, combined with Motamedia’s unique proposition, was an excellent and innovative way to achieve this.”
